Welcome!
I am Juliana Radloff, Board Certified Massage Therapist, licensed in the state of WA. I have been practicing massage therapy since 2007, first in Virginia, then obtained my Washington State license in 2014. I have had years of experience working for chiropractors, a spa, salon, and at a gym. I am excited to welcome clients to my new office in the Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle, WA.
I strive to provide a massage that is both relaxing and therapeutic, tailored to each client's individual needs. My initial training was in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Release, and I have taken a variety of continuing education classes since then, including Pregnancy Massage and Oncology Massage. I have obtained my intra-oral endorsement, and recently completed a Craniosacral Therapy Training Program. I am currently working on becoming certified in Craniosacral Therapy.
Types of Massage/Bodywork
Swedish- A relaxing type of massage aimed to alleviate stress and tension, generally promoting a sense of well-being.
Deep Tissue- Targets specific areas of tension generally using firmer pressure and slower movements to reach the deeper layers of muscle and fascia.
Myofascial Release- A gentle type of massage and stretching that focuses on releasing tension in the fascial tissues. Myo = muscle, Fascia = the connective tissue that covers and supports the muscles throughout the body.
Craniosacral Therapy- A very gentle type of touch therapy that works with the nervous system as well as some of the soft tissue in order to achieve balance and encourage health. It is generally performed with the client fully clothed. It may include intra-oral work as needed, with the use of non-latex gloves.
